Kagyu Monlam 2015 date

This year, Kagyu Monlam 2015 will take place from 15th to 21st December.

Led by Thaye Dorje, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, with gathering of Rinpoches, high lamas and devotees from all over the world, we will pray for the world peace and happiness of all sentient beings.

Everyone is most welcome to join in Bodhgaya!

Kagyu Monlam 2014 Opening ceremony at Main Temple in Bodhgaya

In the morning of 15th December 2014 His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche together with His Eminence Beru Khyentse Rinpoche opened the Kagyu Monlam Chenmo by a ritual of butter lamp ligtening at Main Temple in Bodhgaya.

Althought His Holiness Karmapa has not arrived to Bodhgaya yet, thousands of high lamas, monks and lay devotees gathered to pray under the Bodhi Tree of enlightenment.
